Ji-Sup’s parents are Korean, but he was born and raised in Christchurch and graduated from Otago University with a double degree in Bachelor of Sciences in Neuroscience and Physiotherapy. Ji-Sup has been involved with various sports teams as a sports medic in New Zealand, specifically in field hockey for Auckland national representative teams and taking on New Zealand Junior hockey camps. He has experiences in private musculoskeletal clinics in Auckland and Palmerston North where he has dealt with various clients from youth to office workers and sports related population. Ji-Sup has a certificate in the upper quartile through New Zealand Manipulative Physiotherapy Association. Ji-Sup is a keen rugby fan and player, currently playing fly-half for the Tokyo Crusaders.
